A huge CONGRATULATIONS  to our 2018 cheerleading squads this season.

We had all 6 squads eligible to attend the IRCA State Championship qualify this season! 3 of 6 advanced to the Championship Round, which included a 2nd place finish, and two 3rd place finishes!!!!  Our 7th grade JV Cardinal squad with head coach Krissy Lehn won 2nd Place! Our 5th grade Featherweight with head coach Alissa Francke and 4th grade Pee Wee with head coaches Jen Dosch and Michelle Jenks both took home 3rd place!!  This is a UNBELIEVABLE ACCOMPLISHMENT.  These squads were up against the best competition and towns that are double the size of the town of Antioch as well as newly allowed Club Cheer programs.

Past Season Recognition

Our 2017 season included 5 squads qualifying for IRCA State Champtionship. And we had 3 squads win the State Championship! Jr PeeWee - 3rd grade with head coach Jen Dosch, PeeWee - 4th grade with head coach Alissa Francke and JV - 6th grade with head coach Krissy Lehn.

The 2016 Antioch Viking Youth Cheerleading Program sent 5 squads to the IRCA State Cheer Competition on December 2nd-4th at the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates, IL. Each squad competed in a preliminary round and had to finish in the top three to make it to the Championship round on Sunday, December 4th. We had 2 squads make it to the championship round. The JR Pee Wee Squad - 3rd grade and the Varsity Squad - 8th grade. The Jr Pee Wee Squad with head coach Alissa Diedrich won 3rd Place in the State. The Varsity Squad with head coach Beth Piper took home the Championship State Title with the highest score of the day. This same squad missed the Championship title last year by 1/10 of a point.

The 2015 season was a huge success with all 5 squads earning a bid to state for the first time ever in Viking Cheer history! The Varsity squad took 1st place becoming Back to Back State Champions and our JV squad took 2nd place. Congratulations to all of the squads on an amazing season.
